CEPCEB hosted its 5th Annual Postdoc Symposium on June 1, 2018. Steve Kay, USC Director of Convergent Bioscience and Provost Professor of Neurology, Biomedical Engineering and Biological Sciences, presented the keynote address “Grow Up! The Circadian Clock as the Master Regulator of Plant Environmental Responses”.
The full day event featured research talks by graduate students, post docs, and other researchers, culminating with a poster session and wine and beer reception generously sponsored by PacBio.
Prizes for best oral presentation and posters were awarded. Congratulations to Kelley Clark for Oral Presentation by a Graduate Student and Ryan Joseph for Best Oral Presentation by a Post Doc/Staff Researcher! Gregory Newark and Israel Santana were recognized for Best First and Second Place Poster Presentation, respectively.
